As a construction company, our strategic plan is formulated to reducing the impact of our activities on the environment by bringing about the reductions in both the consumption of primary resources and ultimately the total embodied impacts from our operations and the buildings we construct.
Our procedures are in line with our business growth plan to reduce our environmental impact and increasing our social responsibilities, it also takes into consideration issues of social & economic equity and engagement to improve and share our commitment and knowledge with all parties in the process.
The process of procurement in construction can range from product market analysis, bid and evaluation process to a simple work instruction to a subcontractor. Irrespective of Lowbury’s approach to sustainability, requirements are made clear from the start of the procedure.
We endeavour to source local raw materials that have the minimum environmental impact and use recycled material wherever possible.
We are engaging with stakeholders in a drive to improve procurement practices and the sustainable performance of products and materials by setting challenging and realistic targets then working with the industry in meeting them.
